"Acupuncture Treatment"

Your acupuncture session will begin with a consultation, where the practitioner will inquire about your main concern, overall health, symptoms, and medical history. She may examine your tongue, pulse, and other physical indicators to derive a diagnosis and treatment design.

During the treatment, you will sit or lie comfortably on a treatment table while fine, sterile needles are inserted strategically to stimulate energy flow and promote healing. You might feel a pinch or tingle, however, the treatment is painless and can be extremely relaxing. Depending on the purpose of the treatment, the needles may be inserted and withdrawn immediately or may remain in place for 20-45 minutes, allowing for relaxation and rejuvenation.

To enhance the healing process, music therapy, massage (Tuina), cupping, or moxibustion (warming herbal therapy) may be added to each treatment.
